SGAIEL® is a super-absorbent molecule equipped with an odour control system, designed to effectively collect any type of water-based liquid. It is particularly suitable for use in operating theatres and all hospital wards.
The product is available in practical single-use sachets in water-soluble film in 2, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 50 grammes, ideal for gelifying liquids sucked up into vacuum containers. It is also available in 200, 400 and 1,000 gram jars, perfect for direct application on surfaces such as floors in the event of accidental spills.
SGAIEL® represents an important innovation in the management of bodily waste. Not only does it allow for quick and safe collection of biological liquids, but thanks to its deodorising system, it effectively neutralises unpleasant odours, improving the working environment.
Being a non-acidic polymer, SGAIEL® is compatible with disinfectants such as sodium hypochlorite and sodium dichloroisocyanurate, without the risk of toxic gases developing on contact. In the event of spills of potentially infectious liquids, the combined use of SGAIEL® for containment and disinfectant for sanitisation allows for immediate, safe and effective intervention, protecting the health of operators and patients.

INSTRUCTIONS
Pour the powder over the liquid and allow it to act. Wait approximately 60 seconds for the gelification process to begin. Then proceed with removal of the gel using the appropriate devices.
DISPOSAL
– If originating from infectious isolation environments, dispose of in accordance with the provisions of Italian Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) 254/03, Art. 2, paragraph 1, letter d, point 2.
– If originating from non-infectious environments, dispose of as municipal-equivalent waste in accordance with the provisions of Italian Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) 254/03, Art. 2, paragraph 1, letter g, point 7.
