Rugilux
RUGILUX is a revitalising solution that quickly and safely removes rust and encrustations from surgical instruments and all stainless steel products. It is effective in removing mineral stains from medical and surgical equipment after steam sterilisation processes and helps to loosen bites and hardened joints on instruments.

12% (120 ml per liter):
Prepare the RUGILUX solution by mixing it with water. Pour the mixture into a non-porous container, preferably stainless steel. Place the instruments, which must be clean and opened, at the bottom of the tray. Immerse the instruments in the RUGILUX solution for 15 minutes. Then remove and rinse them. Repeat the procedure if necessary. RUGILUX does not damage stainless steel surgical instruments.
16% (160 ml per liter):
Prepare the RUGILUX solution by mixing it with water. Wear protective gloves and brush thoroughly cleaned carts or trays using a hard-bristle brush. Rinse with water and dry with paper towels.
It is recommended to start a preventive maintenance program using RUGILUX weekly or twice a month, depending on needs. Regular use of RUGILUX will help increase the lifespan and efficiency of stainless steel instruments.
