Happy Cover PP®
is a disposable bag designed for urine collection, containing the SGAIEL molecule, a super-absorbent and deodorising gel. Currently, a bedpan, a rigid plastic container without a closure, is commonly used for this purpose, which is one of the main sources of urinary tract infections.
With Happy Cover PP®, the use of bedpans is no longer necessary. Patients can urinate directly into the bag, where the urine is immediately gelled and deodorised, ensuring greater hygiene, safety and convenience in the management of medical waste.

RAW MATERIALS
HDPE polyethylene. White cross-linked sodium polyacrylate powder enclosed in a water-soluble film.

DISPOSAL

  • If originating from infectious isolation environments, dispose of in accordance with the provisions of Italian Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) 254/03, Art. 2, paragraph 1, letter d, point 2.
  • If originating from non-infectious environments, dispose of as municipal-equivalent waste in accordance with the provisions of Italian Presidential Decree (D.P.R.) 254/03, Art. 2, paragraph 1, letter g, point 7.

 

Happy Cover® P.P. can be used as a replacement for the male urinal or placed inside the urinal before use. After approximately 60 seconds, the SGAIEL® molecule gelifies the urine. Remove the P.P. from the urinal, taking care not to spill the contents outside. To close it, either remove the liner so that the two upper flaps adhere to each other, or grasp the two ends of the opening and tie them together. Once sealed, dispose of the Happy Cover® P.P. in accordance with applicable regulations.
